Solid knowledge in subjects, such as molecular biology, cell biology, or physiology, as well as laboratory experience in at least one of the subjects, are required as an entrance requirement.

Applications are welcome even if the required degree has not been awarded by the time of application as long as this will be conferred before courses start in October. You have to send proof that you will finish your studies before the start of the MSc Program.

Procedure

The application for the Master's Program in Neurosciences aims to give us a first insight into your profile.

Registering and uploading the required documents is the first step in your application process. During application, you will be requested to submit your complete records.

Prospective (best-ranked) candidates will be requested by mail to sit an aptitude examination (written test with multiple choice and free text questions). We will ask for basic knowledge of neurosciences, as well as basic knowledge of Physics, Statistics, and Chemistry (high school level). We do not recommend any book chapters as the exam intends to check the applicant's present knowledge.

This is the second step in your application process. Successful applicants will be chosen from among those candidates, who successfully complete the tests.

The entrance examination is accessible worldwide. Candidates can sit the test in their home countries in almost all cases.

Current note

The application link is only available during the application period: January 8 - March 15. Please submit before March, 15, 11:59 p.m. CET.
